SWISS Project Enhances WASH Infrastructure in Lebanon

Justice, Compassion and Love

Laith, a nine-year-old girl from Lebanon, dreamed of a better future for her family. Thanks to the SWISS project by ADRA Lebanon and ADRA Slovakia, her dreams began to take shape. From 2022 to 2024, the project improved water supply systems and small reservoirs for Syrian refugees and Lebanese communities. Laith's family received a 1,000-liter water tank, along with 1,082 other Lebanese families. Ten schools also benefited from similar tanks. In addition, the project installed a water supply and solar system in a refugee camp, benefitting 94 households. Majdal Anjar municipality received 85 garbage containers for efficient waste management. Today, Laith and her family stand tall, proud of their achievements. Their story shows the power of perseverance, determination, and the support of organizations like ADRA. Together, we can change lives.
