Basic Education through Sustainable Teaching in Baalbek and Mount Lebanon
https://vimeo.com/780743239 ADRA initiated an educational program “Basic Education Through Sustainable Teaching” that gathers children from different backgrounds and cultures to give them access to retention classes and support. The success of our educational system is crowned by the success of the students in their academic performance with the implementation of the right of children to have free and compulsory education in Lebanon. Food Aid Effectively Eradicating Disparity
The FEED project assists 969 vulnerable households from Bourj Hammoud, Mar Mikhael, and Karantina. Activities include the distribution, reloading of Food E-Cards, bi-monthly beneficiary advisory committees, monthly elderly shopping, monthly infographics and focus group discussions. The ultimate goal aims to reduce hunger, increase food security levels, and spread nutrition awareness among Lebanese and Non-Lebanese beneficiaries in a gender sensitive way. WASH Intervention and Sustainable Energy infrastructure for Syrian refugees and Lebanese in Bekaa (WISE)
Functioning Street Lighting ADRA is using renewable sources of energy to improve safety of inhabitants in Al Faour village (in particular women, children, elderly and people with disabilities) at public areas through stable source of light by installing 100 solar street lights to the community of Al Faour (9375 individuals). Leading and Empowering Abilities for the Disadvantaged
Our LEAD project aims to equip vulnerable youth in Lebanon with special skills which will make them stand out in overcrowded Lebanese job market. The main goal of the project is to teach 30 young people (ages 18–35) coding and programming – advanced IT skills highly required by many employers and opening opportunities for starting their own online business. ADRA Lebanon also trained beneficiaries in communication skills which helped them succeed with job interviews and work in the overall work environment. Achievements: 21 Participants (11 males, 10 females) completed the Coding and Programming Course by ADRA. 21 Laptops

Addressing Barriers to Education for Vulnerable Children in Baalbek and Mount Lebanon
ADRA Lebanon with the support of ADRA Australia and ADRA Germany is providing remedial support to 80 non-Lebanese and Lebanese students from grades 1 to 9, who are enrolled in public schools and require assistance with their learning. This program will also support marginalized children and those with disabilities to receive comprehensive reintegration support. Inclusion of these students in our NFE programs and related awareness campaigns in families and communities will support the marginalized children’s access to education and protection services through the coordination with Himaya, a local Child Protection organization which will conduct regular meetings with the parents/caregiver

Shelter Rehabilitation and Garbage Bins
700 plastic garbage bins to 700 households in Al Faour village ADRA Lebanon in partnership with ADRA Czech Republic distributed 700 plastic garbage bins (240 Liters) to 700 households in Al Faour village – Zahle district in coordination with the Faour municipality. In addition solid waste awareness sessions were conducted to the community after bins distribution. Rehabilitation works were conducted for 238 Collective shelters and Sub-Standard units for 210 households (921 individuals) in Aarsal and 28 households (132 individuals) in Al Marj Following this, a post monitoring visit was carried out to a sample of 10% of the
